Camelbak Trail
Help choosing a backpack / bag lumbar?
I currently own a camelbak, but it has little storage space very. I'm looking is a lumbar pack that I can wear my camelbak (link below) or a backpack with a hydration system for day hikes Ill do some this summer. I need room for my lunch (probably a sandwich and a few other food items like trail mix) survival gear (small things like tablets for purifying water and compass) and ideally up water. If someone has ideas post a link, but I would say I am now the cost heavily and wouldnt mind to spend a lot. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3959328&cp=2460170.2804205.2624816.1331118
I have always thought that buying a special piece of gear (at least spend a lot about him) is a bit pointless. Why not just a backpack for students? They are reasonably price, easily available, the size is perfect, they are not heavy, they are durable, and most have a place for an iPod or a hydration tube to poke through. If not, they both have zippers, so you want to organize in the straw coming out of them, then lock it in place with two safety pins. This is a situation where ordinary things is easy to work for you and specialized hiking and camping equipment is exaggerated in my opinion. Jansport makes the classic satchel students, and there are hundreds of similar models in a very standard size. If you can wait to go back to school sales, you save money but they are not very good anyway. You can even have one or can find a used one.
