Gull Grey
Albatross In Florida?
I was recently on a fishing trip off the west coasts of Florida and I spotted a bird that I could have sworn it was an albatross! I even looked up pictures afterwords but I still was not sure. The bird was very large, is mostly white with black / gray on the wings. And I'm positive it was not the type of seagull. Is it possible to identify an albatross in Florida? And if so, what kind of albatross could he? Serious replies only please. Thank you!
I live here in Pensacola, and yes you probably did see one. there here. not as much as Gull, but you'll see them occasionally. They are generally deep water. if you were in a boat far from shore, it is likely was one. I do not know the different types of them though, sorry. But I know that we have,:) hope this helped you! take care.
