how to clean a nice leather purse that got soaked in wine?
an entire bottle of wine leaked in my purse the other night. it smells awful and I need to clean it! but I want to avoid damaging the leather as much as possible. suggestions? do i put it in the washing machine? how do i dry it?
Is it genuine leather, and a good brand? If so take It to the dry cleaners. If they can't do anything try and find a leather specialist in your area. This probably won't be cheap, so ask for a rough price guide and If it costs more or more than half of what you paid for your bag, throw the bag away and just by a new one
if it's synthetic leather than read the labels and chuck it in the washing machine.
