How are cable cars built?
I was skiing the day after Christmas in the Sierra Nevada, Spain, and that put me to wonder on the lifts ... How to put the cable in position? Is this a continuous loop? (I've never seen conjoined) How is the cable in place? (Too heavy for road vehicles and helicopters, it is spun on the site from small filaments drums steel cable?) How many times have they need to replace it? Everyone I saw was very new. Thank you in advance!
