Why is Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month, but no White History Month?

I do not want to offend blacks and Hispanics here ... I'm sorry if I do, but I'm just curious ... For example, if blacks wanted to show they could be equal with whites, that's why they make a big deal that some people who have done good things in history were black? If they want to be equal, that should not be a big problem. Do not see the whites make a big deal of their color when they do something good. Because we are all equal ...

This is an excellent question to ask about Columbus Day. My ethnic white Protestant heritage includes English, Welsh, German, Huguenot, etc. My ancestors owned slaves and my male ancestors passed laws making it illegal for slaves to learn to read. It was not enough. They have passed laws making it impossible for slaves to free themselves, even their own wives and children. You can look that up - all the south of the state between 1830 and 1845 made it impossible to free the slaves and free blacks who had already had to pay additional taxes and distinct. Black Americans have a history that is entirely separate from white history. In 1981, whites in Alabama hung a black body in court before a judge who seemed sympathetic. In 1999, two white Texans dragged a black man behind their truck for several miles after his death. When history white is like black history, white history and should get a month.
