I bought this beautiful vintage black gingham skirt today. The squares are larger and it is A-line, circa 1980. I need to find a style and color of the shirt which will complete its retro feel, without making it look like a school uniform or frumpy. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!
I am an old man with no fashion sense. I do not know what I like and as far I am concerned about a woman dressed in black and white can not make a mistake. I do not care if it's 50/50 or one of the predominant color with just a trace of the other. If everything is black or white you win in my book.
