FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN THE ACADEMY Border Patrol ... I want to know what to take to be good every day after classes are over, what about a laptop, all these things for a purpose staff, number of bags, etc. I do not know, im wondering, I want to get as much info as I can about what to make out the best in my summary of it all
Pack light. You only need the occasional off-duty clothing. Plan for the weather too, it is very cold around October to May in Artesia and warm the rest of the year. Take only what you need. There is a super Walmart a short distance from the Roswell base and is less than an hour north (they have a mall.) You will run things while you're there and more uniform, duty belt, law books, et cetera. Hours I had little pity for the students who failed after I see them around town all hours of the night a week.
