So that they will not excess bagagge
As long as they are not bulky nor heavy, they should be allowed as your cabin luggage. Every passenger is allowed a piece of cabin luggage, and a handbag/shoulder bag. As to the bag of goods, I see plastic bags inside cabins, especially Duty Free bags. If that is allowed, i do not see why your "plastic bag of goods" will not make it to your cabin.
