Sunday, June 5th, 2011I broke my 3-pin Athlon 3700 + ... Is this serious?
Well, I'm a newbie with tinkering inside my desk-top ... I addressed some of the 939-pin back to the CPU back in. ... yeah, I feel like a moron ... Well, anyway, I managed to recover and put the cpu back properly at the end. Even with the 3-pin broken, it seems to work fine. And I had a stress Docotor test PC on which it went ... BF2142 it works well, so .... will the 3 broken pins have no effect at all on the computer's performance? I considered a dual core processor upgrade, but maybe I did not really need. With all the streamlined operating system and Anti-virus disabled it's still pretty fast. But the pins are broken mainly my question. Thank you! seriously, 3-pin broken ... but BF 2142 works fine ... and no errors reported whatsoever ....
Did you bent pins ... I see. If you have successfully started, then you have successfully straightened your pins. You are very lucky. If your broke and your pins were in effect using your computer, I would suggest you take your computer to a church or something, because it seems that Jesus Christ himself is running Windows.
