Tote Organizational
Friday, July 15th, 2011Does anyone have any advice they can give me organization?
I have a room in my house is a disaster complete (it just literally just thrown into this from the time I left my parents' house) and I do not really know where and how to start to get it organized and orderly. I have some things in plastic tote containers, but not all. I'm kind of a slob when it comes to things like that and I do not have much motivation, but I need to clean and organized. Any ideas? Also ideas to make me more motivated because I want to do, I do not really know what to do and get bored with it easily. Thank you! My question was more on the advice of organization the motivation ... I just kind of threw that in.
I am certainly not the most organized person on earth (in fact, I can be really lazy) but I can give you some tips that can help you: 1. First digit of a place for everything in that room (eg the shelf for books, this drawer paper, this shelf for decorations / sourvenirs / CD 's, for clothing and so on). 2. Start a tote containing time. Start putting the entire contents of the container in the place it is (drawer, shelf, library, etc.). A Now, do not focus just yet you want to keep or discard items, that way you'll complete the task faster and better organized. 3. After completing all containers of the room will look a lot neater. However, your work is not done yet. Now go to each category and select the items you want to keep, donate, sell or discard. 4. Once you do this, you will see that the room is already done! GOOD LUCK!
